Debbie has over 20 years of experience of teaching and working in technology. At Hughes Aircraft, she developed databases for a range of non-military clients, and at Software Technologies Corporation, she worked in client services, bringing her knowledge of programming and her love of working with people together.
Moving into management and training her staff brought her even closer to her current passion of teaching. For years, she also volunteered to train leaders in team building, team management, and basic interpersonal skills.
Debbie’s training philosophy revolves around practicality and real-world experience. She “encourages students to grow in their knowledge of a product through lecture, demonstration, and hands on activities. I like to keep things simple and practical. I want to help students find the easiest way to accomplish a task while providing understanding of what they are doing.”
Debbie is also a writer, and in her free time she publishes to her weekly blog, recording her thoughts and insights on her week.
